in the darkness of my eyes

She appeared in the guise
of my dreams

She spoke to me
in the silence of the night

She spoke so sweet
I was lost before I knew

She touched my lips
with hers, sweet wine

She kissed my soul
which burned with fire

as she etched her name into my heart
