Goodbye Riley

Its been almost a week now. last Monday while we were gone our 3 big dogs dug out of the back yard. 2 returned... our shep mix wolfy and our German shep. Bonny. Bonny was injured,limping and in shock. Riley never returned.we searched for hours,and finaly animal control confirmed our worst fears. his body had been recovered on the main highway,blocks from our apt.
so Rileys legacy lives on in our hearts and memories. his favorite rock placed in a special spot in our small garden.
He was 80 pounds of lovable, rock loving dog. he loved nothing better than to chase rocks,hord rocks and carry them around in his mouth. he loved babies too,and even though he was almost 11,he happily rolled over for our puppy lilly beans rough and tumble antics. he had nothing but love to give and was loved by many. he was known as furgus,riley,and rufus,but the best one was Rockhound. he was one of a kind..... he is missed terribly.

aww im so sorry to hear that hun...my pets are like my family also & if any of them were to die i would be devastated :(
