`hmm ok. well i am known as fullmetal/met/metal..ect.. depending on who is talking ot me,lol!
i came to this group looking for answers to tings going on in my own life,I found I also have friends who have this group.

i am still investigatingthis whole "turning"buisness. i dont believe it is something one does to another.I think that either one IS or they ARNT,not because of some magical turning.
I think that the media gives the masses what they think they want.

I think that Twilight was kinda dumb on the whole vampire buisness. cute teen romance? ok maybe. Edward a stalker? yea... but what teenage girl doenst dream about undieing love to the man of her dreams. end of story

as entertainment within the media I am more partial to Van Helsing,lol!
as for blood... am for the most part a vegitarian...and no not the Cullin type,lol

based on background and friends in the medical field, dealing wiht human blood is more dagerouse than walking blind folded down the freeway at night...give me a rare steak.lol!
but in reality tofu is more to my likeing,lol! I am not going to get into urges and physical desires regarding "feedin"or such.. some of the questions refered to above seem a little too like "prying" not actually curiouse,or tryign to help others. squints eyes and tries to read between lines...lol!

As a kid, I saw a couple of movies about vampires. They had one on Disney simple funny stuff. I also grew up watching Interview with a Vampire which Twilight kinda ripped off from. I wasn't a fan when Twilight and New Moon came out but after watching Eclipse, I fell in love with that certain character. The fact of being immortal, being biten then drained and blood scares me but vampires are pretty mysterious and they have something about them that is intimate. I also saw Dracula starring Keanu Reeves and Ryder then the spoof of Dracula: Dead and Loving It. Yeah so I'm pretty vampire savvy. :)

`Ave, my name is Fire. I think the questioned asked above was "when were you turned?" And like someone else commented..you are simply born this way or you aren't. But I can say I awakened (a vampyric term meaning someone has come to realization with what they are) about 6 months or so ago.

And some may think it's rude to pry..and I respect that. But me personally I've only fed from 3 people. But I get my main source from my mate.

And actually in the vampyric community..and of the house I was to join...a vampyre can have a mate (his/or her main person) and two swans (swans being donors). Even being se---lly involved with the other two while with the mate. And by rule the mate has to accept that..he/or she CANNOT force anything upon their companion.

But me..Im very territorial..so...I only feed from my mate.

And to be honest I despise the way HollyWood has portrayed us to be. Don't get me wrong..there have been some great films. But in the end people see us as..monsters, lifeless creatures without a soul, damned, turns into bats, turns into mist, immortals (which we believe in reincarnation), hateful, lowlife, scum bag..beings. And it is easy to understand why they would think this. WHY DID I JUST SAY THAT? Simply this..it is easy for someone to judge based on what they think they see..and because they can't explain it they simply judge based on how they feel and not what they know.

I get my blood from animals... kind of sucks, but I have to. Not live ones, I couldn't do that I just don't have the heart. I get it from raw meat. I works for a while... every now and then I feed off of myself. No taste though..

Honestly, the way vampires are portrayed in the media is stupid. They make them seem so beastlike. From my knowledge, there are no such vampires anywhere. None. I don't care what others say, but lately it's been pissing me off. I mean, come on, Twilight?? The hell? I read the book, he glistens like there's sweat on him... he doesn't sparkle! But now I guess he sparkles, whatever! I guess that's what happens when you target stupid people with girly vampires novels... aha I think I just insulted myself.

Tell you the truth; I haven't been turned yet. I'm a faithful follower. I can be a donor too, if I ever find another vampire near me. I want to be turned, but I want it to be special. And my guy already has promised to turn me when he returns from his fathers estate in Japan
