I remeber...I was sitting in the wide open window,whaching as storm clouds aproached,spilling rain across the valley.
Lightening flashed... thunder boomed...The wind wipped everything into a frenzy.
The day had begun soo hot,then the clouds boiled up from the west and moved over to wreek havoc on the desert.
From my perch in the window I breathed in the sweet smell of wet creasote and sand. Breathed it in deeply,joyfully...Obliviouse to the turmoil that would someday invade my quiet little cabin on the hill.
I reveled in the approaching storm,inspired by the tremendouse beauty that surrounded me...
I drempt of words yet to write,pictures still to paint....Romance and adventure was waiting,mine for the taking, anything was possible!
If i only knew what lay ahead,how my life would be torn apart,beaten down.but even the best psycics dont see their own futers...to have suffered and not be able to even want to go back and change it... after the worst firestorms good still rises up out of the ashes.. beauty still grows form the chared remains...in the form of tiny figners,soft golden curls..eyes so blue they rivale the deep desert sky...laughter and love,and unbridle joy,in the form of my little pheonix....
